What is Barcamp?  

Barcamp is an Unconference!  

Unlike a conference, there is no set agenda or set of speakers, it all emerges on the day.  

It is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. 

The event doesn't cost any money, but there is a price: all attendees must get involved. Barcamp is you and it is me, we are the event, so jump into discussion, run a session, or just help out.  Anyone with something to contribute or the desire to learn are welcome and invited to join. When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.  When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world!!  

What topics are covered? 

Barcamp is generally based around technology and business, but as the event is about the attendees, there is no telling where the conversations and presentations will end up. On the day, topics are often wide and varied.  

Find like minded people, listen to interesting anecdotes, facts and fallacies, then share them.
