What to expect
Need help to get going with you computer but don't know where to start?
Come along to Agnes Waters' friendly, helpful volunteer-run technology support weekly meetup.
For locals of all-ages new to technology or needing help with using their computers, smartphones or the internet.
Whether for personal use, business or study, local computing professionals like Lawson are here to step you through how to:
- Improve basic computer skills
- Learn Microsoft Office essentials
- Set up email and Office apps on your phone
- Store and share documents online
- Prevent computer viruses and malware
- Troubleshooting & guidance, and more!
Bring own devices, or we have laptops available.
Registration required - maximum 10 attendees.
Meet our new Volunteer Trainer - Lawson Lewis:
Lawson has been teaching people to get their computers working for (not against) them for the last 5 years. He is a Microsoft Certified classroom trainer and runs a local IT business in Agnes Water called Incubator IT. Lawson specialises in Microsoft Office and the Python programming language and can help you get going with all things computer and IT related.
